[SOLVED] 16gb Corsair Dominator or 32gb Vengeance?

Hi all.

Need some advice in terms of memory upgrade.

Considering upgrading my ram of my gaming machine. I’m in two minds between some Corsair Dominator Platinum 2* 8gb (16gb) for £135.00 36000mhz or Corsair Vengeance RGB pro 2* 16gb (32gb) 3200mhz for £125.00

my current system is a i7 7000k, RTX 2080 Super. I am upgrading the the mb and cpu in January to a Ryzen 9 5900x.

if you need more than 16 gb ram, then the slower 32 gb would be better than the faster 16 gb kit. but if you don't need the extra ram, then the faster 16 gb kit is the way to go.

i'm not sure games are breaking 16gb yet but i may be mistaken there. i have 32gb in my system but i need it for vm's and such i use all the time.

take a look at the games you are playing and see what the ram usage is. that should be the deciding factor for you.
