16GB Ram installed (7.93 usable) Windows 10 pro

Hello, i've been running into an issue with a new ram stick I have just bought. I checked the system information and it states that i have the 16.0GB installed yet only 7.93 of it is usable? In Bios it recognizes both sticks in the A2 and B2 slots yet only shows 8192mb. Im running on windows 10 pro.
Pc specs:
Motherboard-Asus Prime B350M-A
GPU-GTX 1050TI
Ram-Adata XPG 2X8GB sticks
CPU-AMD Ryzen 5 1400X

you use the 64 bits os i would try to interchange ram form a2 to b2 also use cpu-z spd and memory tab to know system detect them .

make sure you have the two sticks in the correct slots. other then that the ram could be bad or your new and old ram sticks are not compatible with each other due to the sticks having different speeds or CL timings

this is one of the many things that happens when you start mixing and matching ram
