[SOLVED] 16GB Ram installed but only 3,1GB being used.

CPU: Ryzen 7, 2700x
GPU: RTX 2080
RAM: 16GB, 2666mhz
PSU: 700watt
Moba: Asus ROG Strix b450 eGaming
OS: win10 Pro 64bit

Q: i have 2x 8GB RAM DDR4 installed.
and via task manager i got the 16GB but it only uses 3,1Gb and 12GB as hardware reserved.
how can i use all 16GB?

Are you sure it is 2x8GB and not 4x4GB?
was it an upgrade?
in bios did you turn on xmp/docp profile?

yes 100% sure 2x 8GB cuz i only got 2 sticks of ram
no not an upgrade use this pc for gaming for almost 10months with no issue
i changed nothing in bios
