1866 (O.C) meaning

Hello all,

I am thinking about getting this board for the Ivy CPU setup:

When is says 1866 (O.C) then 1600 with no OC behind it, does that mean that if I buy 1866 Ram it won't work unless I over clock?

If so, how in the world do I over clock ram?

to make the chipset support 1866 and up the RAM is overclock to that speed... When you buy 1866 Memory and use X.M.P it automatically set to that speed and the MB will support.... All memory above 1600 is overclock from 1600 Memory Speed..
