[SOLVED] 19 volts on 15 volt pc speakers is ok?

I added a pair of old harmon kardon pc speakers to my pc. I added 19 volt adapter to 15 volt speaker by mistake. will it hurt anything. it appears to work.

That is like 4V overvolt on your controller which distributes voltage, it may tolerate it may not, always hook up correct voltage rather , amperage has to be same or higher.

thanks for reply , i found 15 volt adapter , now both speakers sound good for old pc speakers.
