Question Displayport 1.4 vs Hdmi 2.1 45GR65DC-B

I have the 45GR65DC-B, I've been using the Displayport cable for a while now, however I discovered that the hdmi on the monitor is actually 2.1. Is it worth it to switch over to that instead? I have a 4000 series card, so I do have hdmi 2.1 out, however I'm not sure if I'd still be using dsc on hdmi or not?

Since you have both HDMI 2.1 output and HMDI 2.1 input, I'd switch to HDMI...due to the higher bandwidth.
