If I enter the 192 168 1 1 adress for my router in the URL window of my MacBook google starts a search for this. How can I get through to my router?
Thanks,
giumartello

Enter the address of your default gateway in your browser, and that should be your router config.
Agreed, check to make sure 192.168.1.1 is the correct address.
In mac you can open a terminal window and type ifconfig -a to see your current pc's ip address, and the first 3 octets will be the same as your router.
