[SOLVED] 1A adapter instead of 1.1A? (for speakers)

Hello,

I've got an old set of harman/kardon speakers which are missing its power adapter.
It requires a 15V 1.1A adapter, but I can't find that anywhere for a reasonable price.
Could it work safely with a 1A or 1.2A adapter?
It's not going to need 1.1A if I'm not using it on full volume, right?

It should work, as long as you make sure the adapter polarity matches the speakers. Also keep in mind if there are power issues or the power adapter is poorly made you may get high pitched whine from the adapter or the speakers.
