Im looking for a gaming monitor for 140 usd, and I've found two options: this asus monitor (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ANKMNXO/ref=ox_sc_mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER) which is 1ms 60Hz, and this ViewSonic monitor (https://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-VX2452MH-1080p-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B018MYTH9U/ref=sr_1_sc_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1489531976&sr=1-1-spell&keywords=viewsonic%2Bmontiorp&th=1) which is 2ms, 75Hz and has Freesync. They're both 140 USD, and both 1080p.

little to none except the freesync monitor you have to use a AMD card to utilize that feature .. like NVidia's gee stink its just gimmicware [$$ ] to me and NVidia only ? to me just crap to add issues if buggy or not working properly or nvest in a freesync monitor and use a NVidia card of a gsync and use a amd card ? what do you pay for then ? gimmicks .

I just get a solid monitor with out that jazz that works equally well no matter what card is used [opinion]

Honestly, you'll want to spend the few extra bucks and get something into the 120-144 Hz range. For about 60 more bones, you could pick up your 24" 1080p, 144 Hz, 1 ms response time monitor. I will personally attest to the fact that you'll have a lot more viewing pleasure on those than what you have linked. 😀
