i have a 1ms asus 27 inch monitor at 75hz vk278q but my friend is getting a 24 inch 1ms monitor from benq, is there a noticeable difference. in most games i barely go over 450 fps.does it matter? by the way its 75hz of mine vs the 60ghz of his . Are both good for gaming and does mine ghost?
which one is superior

1ms is better than 2ms on paper, but in reality you wouldn't see a difference. Also, the higher hz the better as that dictates how fast the screen refreshes, so the 75hz is better than the 60hz. If you're asking whether or not your monitor ghosts, then I doubt it does as you'd notice it.

Depends on the monitor itself, the 1ms difference probably isn't going to make much difference to anything but the most eagle eyed of people. (and quite frankly, i want to see some double blinded random sample tests before i believe even that).

The Hz rating won't matter as you're not hitting the maximum FPS (for you 75, for him 60) Or it may matter, but 15 Hz, when you're not translating that into FPS is going to mater very little.

Oh and i assumed you meant 45 rather than 450 XD

the lower the better, but, and this is important. When you read these specs, take it with a grain of salt. Well, for this one, a lot of salt. The way they measure this is not even the same most of the time. And brands like to make things seem perfect. Like viewing angles, sure, you can see it from there, but if it is a TN panel the colors will still be horrible.

I would suggest you try to find some actual reviews. It would be best if you can see the actual monitor before buying. sorry for the long post

i mean 450 fps not 45 i know sometimes its grey to grey and stuff. i already have the monitor. is 2 ms still very good for gaming, and would 1ms be a significant improvement. since im sort of gutted i spent 2 and a half grand on my tech and he only spent 600

As we've both already mentioned, there is likely no visable difference between 1ms and 2ms.

by most games i mean tf2 and minecraft (albeit on far settings) 1 radeon hd 7970ghz
