Question Best gaming laptop between 1500-2000$

Hello my wife and I are starting a family so I do not have the room for a full pc setup so I am looking into gaming laptops to buy within my budget. I am willing to spend between 1500-2000$ any suggestions out there.

My budget is between 1500-2000 im looking to play rainbow six siege, escape from tarkov, cod,dying light and I don't need to run my game at max settings but whatever will run the smoothest. Doesn't matter what size it is cause I have a monitor I will plug into. Brands I was looking at was omen, msi,asus rog strix,allienware. I want to be able to keep the laptop for a while, battery life obviously as much as possible but I will most likely stay plugged in anyway.

Looks like anything with a 5070 Ti is going to push out of the price range. That leaves the 5070 as your likely choice for video card unless you find a closeout/refurb on a 4080. Generally if you're looking more for performance rather than battery AMD or Intel HX CPU lines are what you want to look for.

While I haven't personally used a laptop for a long while I have a friend who'd had both an Asus and Lenovo gaming laptop and they returned the Asus. They've been happy with the Lenovo and had a pretty good experience with support when they had to have the mainboard replaced due to it having fallen.

Looks like the Lenovo Legion 5i/Pro 5i are the ones with the 5070 in your price range. I'd suggest 32GB DRAM and on the CPU side the 255HX is plenty or with older model 14700HX.
