Hello,

I almost finished assembling my new PC, and only the PSU remains

-Ryzen 7 9800x3d cpu
-X870 tomahawk motherboard
-64gb ddr5 ram
-Noctua NH-D15 cooler
-RTX 5080 gpu
-Lian lee lancool 216 case

I have a big question that i kept researching for the past 6 hours or so, and i would like to receive some guidance

In my country, the only 2 decent options cost/performance and atx 3.1 regarding PSU are 1stPlayer NGDP 1000W atx 3.1 fully modular or BeQuiet Pure power 12 non-modular 1000w atx 3.1. Both of them cost around 140E.
The only alternatives for 1000w psu, from established brands like seasonic, corsair and so on are all in the 220E - 300E range with 15+days more for delivery.

Even tho i didnt hear before about 1st player , after a lot of research i found that this unit should be a solid one. Also found a good review on https://hwbusters.com/psus/1st-player-ngdp-1000w-psu-review/ and it also scores very high in the PSU database (since the review the suboptimal fan has been upgraded to a better one)
Both PSU are Gold rated, seems to be some issues with the pure power (Taiwanese capacitators instead of Japanese, a bit shorter and stiff cables, some reported cases of coil whine). On the 1st player I didn't find any issues reported, yet.
Now, both PSU offer 10y warranty, and i honestly dont plan to upgrade the PC in the next 4-5 years ( when most likely the PSU will be swapped for a bigger one anyway)

Should i pick the 1st Player PSU and have peace of mind that it will perform properly and not fry my components in case of a power outtage or whatever, or should i pick the non-modular Pure Power 12 and try my best to do a decent cable management, considering the case is rather big and allows for it?

At the moment i am inclined towards 1stPlayer PSU, but i would like to hear some more opinions about this

Thank you

The guy behind1st player actually is from Thailand/Indonesia but he started off with modding cases. IMHO, pick either units and call it a day. Since you have a 10year warranty on whichever unit you pick, you're supposed to be honored it, regardless of what happens(as in it wasn't user error, rather manufacturing defect).

You seem to have made your mind up.
