Wow, i just read through the reviews until the end and yes, it is not for gamers. Thank you so much for pointing that out!!! You have saved me big time!

I looked around and it seems the general concensus is that LCD monitors are not really good for gamers because of the ghosting affect they produce.

So i think i'm going with a CRT flat screen 19".

I plan on overclocking my CPU...should i get regular PC32000 memory for it or will faster memory give me better results in overclocking?

Has anyone heard of this kind of memory?

This <A HREF="http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227213" target="_new">OCZ Value VX</A> has some great OC potential. Read Anandtech's recent <A HREF="http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.aspx?i=2392" target="_new">Value RAM Roundup</A> for details.

Edit: In order to get the best performance from these modules you must be able to give them high voltage - optimally 3.5V - 3.6V and that is no small feat. It can be done with the DFI nF4 Ultra D. The MSI Neo2 will not go that high - you will need the OCZ DDR booster or have to mod the motherboard.

Thanks for the info on the booster, I have added that to my saved cart.

One question though, one user wrote this:

check to see that your power supply has a -5v rail before you buy this. the -5v rail is what powers the LED readout, and if you don't have the readout, you are going to have an extremely difficult, if not impossible time using this.

How do I check to see if the power supply with the board of my case http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811105115
has that?

It has a -5V rail - take a look at the pics of the case. One of them has the PSU specs and that is where you find the specs on the voltage rails.

Thanks again for your responses...you all have been a great help and I highly doubt I would have made this much progress in getting the best of what I needed without your expertise.
