1TB HDD only shows 60GB

I have a WD 1TB HDD but it only shows 60GB in windows disk management?
Any help please.

It could be that your HDD was previously formatted in a Linux system, or other OS not Windows. I would recommend downloading an HDD management software like Paragon suite, and partitioning/reformatting your HDD back to NTFS. That's the only way you can get that 1TB back. Goodluck!

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the 1TB WD drive. I'd recommend you run some malware/anti-virus scans first, then using a cleaning tool to get rid of all the redundant files that might be taking a lot of space. Another thing you should is make sure that the space isn't, in fact, used by many System Restore Points and for everything else I'd use WinDirStat to determine the statistical view of the files on the WD HDD. I'd also recommend you to backup all your data elsewhere before proceeding with the troubleshooting.
