[SOLVED] 1x1000 Mbit/s ??

Solution
Ethernet=wired.

Ethernet will always outperform WIFI.

If your PC can't be wired because you don't have an ethernet outlet nearby, you will have to purchase a WIFI adapter for it, and if you want to PC WIFI to perform as good as your laptop, don't go cheap buying a $10 Chinese WIFI USB adapter. Get a good $50 PCIe kind with an antenna.
Onboard=built in onto the Motherboard, nothing to buy or add.

1000 mbit=current standard, pretty common. People often confuse LAN speed vs Internet Speed. 1000 mbit LAN speed is common as said, but your Internet speed is governed by your ISP plan you paid. 1000 mbit runs most commonly via ethernet cabling or fiber, there is currently no wireless 1000 mbit speed.

(I'm in the process of building a PC) Right now I have a laptop, and I usually get around 10-30 ping when playing most games. I'd say my WiFi is decently above average, will it remain that way with just the motherboard and no other wired connections/adapters etc?
