Question 1x8 pin cpu connector enough for an i713700kf?

So my psu is a evga 700w br (it only has 1×8 pin cpu connector), im about to upgrade my motherboard, cpu and ram. I found that theres no problem in using only one of the 8 pin connectors if you are not overclocking, is this true? In fact i want to undervolt the cpu, full specs of the system just in case:
Z790 aorus elite ax
Rtx 3070 tuf
32 gb ram corsair ddr5
I7 13700kf
Evga 700w br
 
Yes you can get away with using only 1 EPS12V 8-pin, but make sure the power limits on your CPU are enforced before you start doing anything. Personally I'd suggest getting a better quality power supply for the hardware combination you're talking about though.
Yes i will, probably in the next month or two, but in the meantime its ok right?
