2 Asus VX239H . Different Monitor Modes

Hi,

I have 2 Asus VX239h monitors but they both have different monitor modes

MONITOR 1
-sRGB
-Scenery
-Standard
-Theater
-Game
-Night View

MONITOR 2
-sRGB
-Reading
-Dark Room
-Scenery
-Standard
-Theater
-Game
-Night View

Is there something wrong with my monitor 1 or is there some kind of software update I need to do? I've inspected their boxes just to make sure both are the same models. Thanks

there are two versions the Asus VX239h and Asus VX239h-W, are you sure both are the same. And i cant see this being a issue as i would only use game, sRGB and standard ( maybe theater also).

Hi,

Thanks for the info. Not really too much of an issue though as im also using rgb and game modes most of the time. I just thought Reading mode is handy specially if im reading long pdf documents. I guess I'll just be using the 2nd monitor for that. I've also checked the version number on the back of the monitors they are both the same(vx239h). I went to asus website to check vx239h-w not quite sure with the difference beside the color. I've also check vx239n and i think it matches the monitor modes available for my monitor 1

Hmmm thats weird they might just be a different generation model, im not quite sure.

yeah. first one is also dated as jan 2014 and the second is oct 2014. I've also noticed my first monitor comes with a different adapter(3 pin) and the 2nd one with the a 3rd wire for static instead of the 3 pin version.

Yeah might have switched some stuff around who knows no big deal

I believe they might have just enabled those 2 versions(reading and dark room) for newer batches of that model. But anyway thanks for the response!
