2 computers, 1 digital license?

So when windows 10 came out I upgraded from windows 7, today I had some old hardware laying around and my old hard drive that had windows 7 installed on it. I put everything together and deleted the drive. plugged a usb with windows 10 on it and installed it. I went to settings and to my surprise it was activated. The thing is I deleted the drive before installing windows 10 and did a clean install. So now my main is activated and the old PC is activated. Is one of them going to deactivate? are they on different keys now? can someone please explain?

Yes eventually one will deactivate.
