2 Computers on 1 Outlet?

I have a dedicated outlet for my Gaming computer on its own circuit and breaker. The computer is only estimated to run up to 360ish watts according to pcpartpicker, and I have a 550w Gold PSU.
I installed this dedicated outlet specifically so my computer would not get dips or surges from lights or other things.
So what I am wondering is if my girlfriends laptop is plugged into the same outlet, or same surge protector will it charging or ramping up power while she games effect my comp or vice versa? Or isn't that part of the power supplies job: to distribute power as needed to other parts?
Her charger says;
Input 100-240 V~1.7A 50-60 Hz
My comp as stated should be around 296-360w with a 550w PSU.
Will they interfere or be vying for the available power?

(NOTE: Its a very old house without proper grounding on some circuits which is why I put one in for the new comp. I didn't realize none were properly grounded until this project....yeesh.)

Solution
The CB only protects other circuits from shorts or amp draw exceeding the current rating. When a large load goes on, there is a voltage dip on the electric service and you can see a voltage drop on all individual circuits.

You are looking at a 5 amp load w/ both puter plugged in ... plus what your monitor and other accessries add.

In a normal house with normal wiring, this would be absolutely no problem.
In your house, with dodgy wiring...completely unknown.
Probably OK, but unknown.

So I did put in an 8ft grounding rod, in addition to the breaker box being connected to the cold water main; the box is well grounded. I ran new wire from the box and installed a new outlet, so everything should be legit on that line. Its the other outlets which are still not properly grounded - that's why I don't just plug her into another spot.
With that said whats your opinion?

Do you have, or can borrow, a lamp with a 60 or 100watt incandescent bulb?
If so, plug it in. See what happens.

So you are saying it WOULD dip the power to my computer when hers gets turned on?

And are you implying that the 5 amp load is not very much? Its on a 120v breaker.
