Hi, I've got a G. Skill Aegis 1x8GB 3200Mhz CL16, and i want to buy a new stick of RAM. The Aegis costs a lot more now so I've been thinking of buying HyperX 1x8 GB 3200Mhz CL16 FURY. Both of these got XMP 2.0. Will it work, or is there any problem? Even with the identical specs?

Solution
There's no way to know for sure it will work without trying it.

The best chance you have for them to work together is with a kit.

The next best chance is to match the specs and manufacturer the best you can.

Most of the time I do this it works....probably 80-90%.

Thank you, so the Aegis has timing 16-18-18-38, and the HyperX is 16-18-18, so the specs are the same, now i need to pray to God, if it works right?

Yes.
You do the best you can.
As I said...it works for me most of the time.
I'm running a 2009 system with 6 sticks....3 of one batch....3 of another...I don't recall what was different in the specs (if any)...but I know the manufacturers were different. It's been running for years without a glitch.
