2 GTX 960s running SLI or 1 GTX 1050 Ti?

Which is better?

Price-wise Id be getting the 960 for £100 used and the 1050 for £150. The idea was to get the 960 and then add another when the price drops.

it is always recomended to go for single more powerfull card unless (like me) you got the single most powerfull card on the market and it is not enought. The advantages for SLI is that is more stable and much better then crossfire (had 2 x R9 290X in crossfire and it was a nightmare, now with 2 x gtx 1080 SLI is much much better then cross and pain free). My advice go for a gtx 1060 it is not much over the 1050 and it is a upgrade worth to make.

If they are 4gb 960s, then SLI can be a good option for the money, dont bother if 2gb. Otherwise save a bit more (£220 for a 1060 6gb).

Cheapest I have seen in the Uk, is the Asus 1060 6gb Dual which is 15% off at overclockers.co.uk £218 at the moment.

Just for curiosity what are your specs? Because youmight be dragged down by the cpu. If you can please post your entire configuration, if you dont know how to do that download speccy and post from there what it says.

Ah ok it good even for a gtx 1080. So go for the gtx 1060 6GB it is a great upgrade for you.
