2 HDD's/ 2 Registries?

Maxtor 30GB HD
Windows Me
Windows 2000 Pro

Is it possible to set up 2ND HDD (two different OS'S) and have both registries recognized? Am trying add a second drive with master/slave configuration but the slave takes the primary config. I know I can partion one disk and have one os on each partition but was wondering if I could have both os's coexist on separate disks?

i have linux on one hard drive... windows 2k on the other... to boot to linux i dont use lilo... i just switch hard drive in the bios... so much better...

Duh! I never thought to do this! Excellent! At least I can swap in the bios as a workaround. Are there any other options?

Ps Thanks much for this tip. Can't wait set up another drive with Linux to swap.
