Hello,

Me and my roommate have issues with a game we play where it will not let the same IP on the same server. We currently have Bell Aliant Fibre Op (Atlantic Canada).

  • Is it possible for me to have two PCs come from a different IP?
    Can I do this myself?
Can I pay a fee to my ISP to have two IPs?
Would I have to get like another connection in my place (i.e. a dsl connection along with my fibre connection)?

I apologize if this question has been multiple times in the past.

Thank you very much for your help and I look forward to reading your suggestions.

Cheers

I will definitely be calling Bell to get their take on it, was just looking to get a general overview of my available options prior to contacting them. Also,we would split the cost of the connection and given I have a pretty decent relationship with my ISP, I feel I could get a discounted rate. Furthermore, I don't think it can be that expensive?

We tried a few different VPN services but canceled our subscription shortly after due to lag issues unfortunately.
