Question 2 Lan Ports static setup problem

I have a SuperMicro X10SAE Motherboard with 2 lan ports, I run into issues with both being on static ip's

In addition to that question, what IPs? Same subnet? Two separate subnets?
Connected to what? One managed switch with VLANs? Two managed switches? Two unmangaed switches?

And I will add the suggestion to run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt.
