2 monitors w/ 1 card

For work, not play, I often want to compare 2 sets of documents / information.
Currently I print the data & compare from paper.
This is slow & often the .docs when seen side by side contain major differences that are immediately seen. But without side by side comparison it is difficult for me to remember ( uh, duh )..
I have 2 monitors. 1 left over from a previous system upgrade.
Using a split screen / windows.. results in to much scrolling to be time effective.
What dual out put cards will work best with my Abit BX Rev 2 card & Cel. 566 OCed to 850.
Can I use 2 different IE 5.5 windows on the 2 monitors?

thanks in advance
tim

I have 2 video cards and 2 monitors(best way if you ask me.) But yes you can open 2 diff windows 1 on each monitor.

Never tried it , but with a G400/450 or a GeForce 2 MX and a Sony Monitor (The one i have! - It can be plugged to 2 computers simultaniously, swapping between the two with a switch in the front panel!), you probably could open 2 documents at the same time!

If you´re asking why i haven´t tried it yet, it´s because
i have a GeForce 2 GTS and it doesn´t have Twinview! :-(

For work only you say?
Absolutely go with the Matrox G450.

- Better go Green than Blue!

Best solution is two independent video cards. Get an AGP voodoo3 and a pci voodoo3.

Balls, said the Queen if I had them I would be king!

I'd also say get a G450. Note that there are some dual-head Geforce2MXs out that you might want to look into.

And i think the MX is cheaper than the G450!
So , you have to look at both´s picture to see which one´s better!
