I had a power outage a couple days ago and after the power came back on my PC was dead. The fans and lights worked but I couldn't get to bios. I tried a variety of solutions none worked except replacing my motherboard. Replacing my motherboard worked and all my other parts seem to be fine. However after the new motherboard worked I went into my bios to OC my RAM, which caused my PC to die again. Fan and lights work but can't get to bios.
I've tried:
Jumping cmos and removing battery.
Using a different CPU (3600)
Using a different GPU (2060)
Booting with no ram or only 1 stick
I'm going to replace the motherboard again and see what happens but I'm worried that there might be something else causing my motherboards to die. Is sticking with the same power supply/RAM/surge protector/wall outlet safe?
Build:
Ryzen 5600
Rx 6700
Asus B550M-A
Corsair vengeance lpx 16gb
Gigabyte 650w
