I am getting the option of upgrading my gamimy rig. And I have a choice between getting 2 msi gtx 780 lightnings in sli or getting one gtx titan black edition.
Notice that if I get the 780s I need to upgrade to a Asus maximus V extreme motherboard, this mother bird is a year and a half old and I am not shure whethere that will impact the preformance.
Thanks

The two 780s would be faster than one Titan Black. As said above, the Titan Black is basically the 780Ti with more VRAM, a slight clock speed increase, and better double precision floating point computing capabilities. The GPU computing capabilities aren't relevant to gaming, and are only a factor if you're using certain productivity software that can use CUDA acceleration. The extra VRAM is not likely to benefit you unless you plan on buying a 4k display, and even if you were, you'd probably need two Titan Blacks in order to get decent game performance at that resolution.

I am running a 780TI 3gb Kingpin edition and I keep hitting my 3gb vram limit on a few games due to my 3 1080p monitors. Do you think if I throw in 2 of the new EVGA 780 SC 6b's in sli I will see an increase in performance? I know it will keep my vram from shutting down my pc, but i would be downgrading from a 780ti to 2 780's in sli

That would solve any Vram issues ( you said you were having a problem) but if your going to do that just wait for the 6Gb 780 Ti's to come out and pick up one or two of them. You should be fine either way though.
