Mmm, i just checked some old photo's from when i sold this board with 3x 9800gtxs' in.

http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/m503/MG_cool_blue/best_overall.jpg

The card seems to align straight out level with the top of the expansion slot and is clearing the pipes. Had a look at my gtx 260 and seems to be doing the same.... so now i'm not sure.. it would cost me a heck of alot on postage if i had to send it back to china.

Anyone used the 260 with this mobo?

It's where the pipes turn and head down and run underneath the graphics card that gave me problems, they stuck out too far from the board and I couldn't push the card all the way in.

OK, decided against the p7n. Have been looking to upgrade to an i core but is just a bit too much at mo. Am now looking at an EVGA 790i sli ultra, but keep thinking about the p5n72-t board, i cant find much about them online apart from the official site. Does anyone have any experience of these boards??

Ok, so eventually got an Asus P5N-T deluxe. Not gonna bother adding the 8800gtx, gonna wait for n get another 260. I did see an article a while back on this site with various bench marks from 880ogtx, 260 and 280 in various configurations. The 260 didnt do too well, only on higher resolutions was it much better than the 8800gtx. I am using 1080 on a 42" for gaming but before i get another 260 i'm wondering if it is in fact worth it and perhaps trade the 260 and get something better for future games. At the mo Rage plays on my 42" easy on highest settings (bit of texture pop-in) but dont know how it would deal something like Deus Ex.

What would be better? A single 460 or similar or 2 260's?

P.S My 260 is the bfg Maxcore. Shouldnt have any problem OC'ing as my case is running pretty cool but, OC'ing isnt something i want to with my Graphics card...
