Hello I have 11900k CPU ... I want to buy 32 GB ram for it ... Since this is a 2 Channels CPU, I know the best option is to buy 2 x 16 GB ram, but I have two options :
Option 1 → 2x16 Trident Z Royal Elite Gold CL16 4266Mhz
Option 2 → 4x8 Trident Royal Silver CL16 4400MHz
The first option is 2x16GB, but the second one is 4x8GB with higher MHz .... but I heard that for a 2 channel CPU, it's better to use only 2 ram modules. Which one is better ?

Hey there,

Well, your CPU offcially only supports DDR4 3200mhz. So there's no guaranteed they'd work. However, the IMC in that CPU is very robust, so could use very fast ram. It also depends on your mobo support. Which exact one is it?

List your full PC specs.
My motherboard is MSI Z590 ACE (Supports up to DDR4 5000) so I can use XMP and handle upper than 3200 ... My power is 1000.

Yes, you should use only a 2 x kit. 4 DIMMs can put more load on the SOC, and can cause issues.

On the speed of the ram - While your mobo supports faster speeds, that doesn't mean your CPU (as they are all different) will work with those high speeds. Just be aware that it could be an issue.

What do you mean, my CPU can't work with that high speed ? What will happen ? What issue for example ?

Hello!

2x16GB is generally better than 4x8GB.

Though your motherboard might list a very high memory frequency, please keep in mind that that's not a guarantee, because your CPU supports officially up to only DDR4-3200MT/s!

Another thing to consider is the QVL (Qualified Vendor List).
See if the memory kit that you are trying to buy is supported by your motherboard!

I hope this helps...
