Hello! I have a CPU Cooler Aerocool Cylon 4F and i want to connect its 2-pin RGB to the Motherboard. But my MB is MSI X470 GAMING PLUS has 4-pin RGB reciever header. Can i connect cooler's 2-pin to MB's 4-pin?
Thanks in advance

Solution
Yes, there is a converter. The signal systems AND voltages are quite different between 4-pin plain RGB and 3-pin ADDR RGB. The 4-pin system is more limited in what it can do. So it turns out that, IF you make the proper change in VOLTAGE, you can have an ARGB 3-pin system produce most of the colours of the more limited displays of a 4-pin RGB system. Here is a Converter that does BOTH those jobs - convert the signals and provide the correct Voltage to a 3-pin ARGB system.

With no input from a mobo 4-pin plain RGB header it can create its own displays on the ARGB lghts - control is manually by the buttons on the box. But you CAN connect to your mobo's 4-pin RGB header and set this box to turn over display control to the mobo. Then control is by the software utility supplied with your mobo. You do not get all the fancy things an ARGB system can do. You get all the displays a plain RGB system can do, however.

You're lucky in this sense. It is NOT possible to convert the more complex signals of a mobo ARGB header to run a plain 4-pin RGB light system. But you have the other direction of conversion to do, and that item above can do it.
