I have a Gigabyte H81M-S motherboard with core i5. I had a 4gb 1600 Mhz kingston hyper-x blue ram already installed on it. Then I added another kingston 4gb 1800 Mhz hyper-x fury ram to it. On first boot after installing the 2nd ram everything was working perfectly. But on the next day when I swithed on the pc it wouldnt turn on, it didnt even reach the bios stage. So I tried each ram individually and the pc works fine on the hyper-x blue ram but fails to start on the hyper-x fury ram. And the final curve ball is that the hyper-x fury ram works fine on other computers. Is it a motherboard issue, or different rams issue I dont know. Please help!!

Try resetting the CMOS, then install only the Fury stick, set manually to 1600 9-9-9-24 (or the settings the Blu calls for, save, exit, shutdown and then add the Blu. The Blu operate off of XMP where the Fury run off PnP, generally they don't like to play together very well

But it won't boot with only the fury ram installed. How do I manually set the speed to 1600?
Tradesman1 I didn't mean to down vote your answer, it was by accident (typing from my phone)
