Our ISP connection is at one site, SITE A. Users, servers, computers, etc., are a few miles away at SITE B. The 2 sites are connected via a wireless point-to-point link. There are no users or computers at SITE A, only the modem/router.
The problem we have is that when we lose the PTP link (for whatever reason) we lose our LAN because the DHCP is happening at SITE A which is no longer accessible.
We want to add a secondary router to SITE B but want it to handle the DHCP. Is this possible? We don't care if DHCP is enabled or not at SITE A because there's no one there.
We are using Ubiquiti Nanobeam M5 (5GHz) units for the link.
