For system 2 i will upgrade with more RAM and cooler

Both will have Vista 64 bit on them. it will be primarily used for gaming but might use windowed gaming from time to time whilst using messenger and internet
Please tell me witch one you would go for and what problems there are with them because this is first time with my own custom PC

and don't argue about price to me because these are the figures I've got from local shops in Cumbria (we love are male Cells) with the ripoffness prices

Corsair does not make a quad-rail 750; but Corsair is an excellent brand PSU.

For either system I'd change the HDD to a WD 640GB and GPU to GTX285. I'd also recommend a BenQ monitor, G2400WD or V2400W.

If the Blu-Ray is important go with #1, otherwise #2.

Ok so the amd system has a bluray drive and a gig more ram and a cpu cooler .

Do you need a blu ray drive ?

If you dont then the intel is probably the way to go . Its a faster more powerful chip and your gfx card is powerful enough to benefit from the extra grunt .
