I currently have only 338 GB used on my hardrive while it says I have 913 GB free of 1.81 TB.
Any ideas? http://prntscr.com/5ffxtp (Screenshot of everything highlighted and scanned)
Disktective says that 70% is coming from my prog (x86) folder and 20% was from my recycling bin (emptied it after I found out 200 GB was being used there)

Any ideas on how to fix this?

There are hidden files & partitions (used by the system). This can be anywhere between 1 and 40GB on average.

Also, the difference between decimal and binary systems of measurement. Hard drive manufacturers and other storage devices use the decimal system to measure size. 1KB = 1000 bytes, 1MB = 1000 KBs, 1GB = 1000MBs, and 1TB=1000GBs. Computers, however, are binary machines, so 1KB=1024KBs 1MB = 1024 KBs, 1GB = 1024MBs, and 1TB=1024GBs.

With a completely blank 2TB hard drive, if you do the math, you can expect it to read as 1862GBs, or approximately 1.8TBs

You can look in disk management to see what the hidden partitions are. The hidden system files are a bit harder to track down....but if you want instructions, I will try to track them down.

FatheredPuma81,

You can try cleaning up temporary files as well as delete some old restore points. It will also not hurt to run an anti-malware/virus scan. Some viruses can cause HDD filling up.

Under disk management there are no extra partitions from what I can see. Unless i'm looking at the wrong thing. Could you tell me how to find the partitions?
