Question 2 WD Black NVME M2 drives on MB best way to run them See Size and Lanes

I have a B450 motherboard with 2 M2 drive slots. One is PCIE3x4 the other is PCIE3x2/SATA. my system currently has a WD Black SN750 500gb drive in the 3x4 slot. I just purchased a 2TB WD Black SN750 NVME.M2 drive. What’s the best way to go: leave 500gb as boot/programs drive in fast slot and use 2TB for bulk storage of photos/music/etc in slower slot? Or do I dump everything onto the 2TB and use that as my main C drive for boot/program/files/everything and use 500gb on slow slot for extra future storage ?
