hey,
I managed to get myself a free 3090 for 3 months from uni.
so I thought trying sli even though there is not alot of support.
after installing everything it seemed to work fine.
but when I go into a sli compatible game the scnd gpu is stuck at 10-15 %
while the other one is at 99%
my Specs:

Aorus x570 Master
3950x
2x 3090
32 gb 3600 ram
and tons of storage on Nvme and normal SSd and one HDD

the gpus r installed in the first and the scnd pcie 16x slot

I dont know if its a problem with Nvlink or something else

I tried reseating
clean installing Driver
uninstalling the bridge and reinstalling

also I dont see sli rendering mode in manage 3d Settings
but in configure sli everything seems fine, and yes I pressed apply xD

sooo I no longer know what to do

Solution
Remove the extra RTX 3090, and enjoy your own card. Theres no point to use 2 of them for any game, specially if its an old title with SLI support. One RTX 3090 should be enough to run anything.

New games and drivers don't have support for SLI gaming. Only thing you may be able to do with them is rendering (and not all software make use of 2 GPUs).

Well if I were you, I would keep screwing around... it's what I would have to do.. you know... well yeah you know.

Safe Mode DDU

As SLI is now a sloppy mess that has to be implemented on a game level you might need a fresh driver install using DDU in safe mode yea that could help.

Disable any resizable bar features in the bios if you can access them which I doubt you can anyway.

What PSU are you using for this monstrosity?

No RB does not affect SLI and it likely isn't an option you can activate but i can't see your bios to know whats happening?

no really what psu are you using?
What PSU is powering sli 3090?
I can activate it in the Bios

bequiet 1200 w dark power

Something doesn't sound right about that, but cool glad you had fun!

I'd hold onto the second 3090 until it has to go back to the school and mine bitcoin for a few months ;), it won't hurt anything, but your power bill
