Hi,

I've just bought a new case and motherboard: a Coolermaster Cosmos C700p, and Gigabyte Gaming 7. The case had two 20pin USB 3 cables but there's only one 16pin slot on the motherboard. Do I need to buy some kind of adapter or am I missing something?

Thanks

Should have checked how many USB3 slots motherboard has before buying. If you have free USB2 slots on motherboard, you can get an adapter and connect USB3 cable to free USB2 slot - but obviously, all ports connected to this cable will be working as USB2 ports if you do so.
