Hi guys i just wonder if undervolting 14700k will loose significant performance ? For example 12900k are not affected with issues, will 12900k be more reasonable to buy if 14700k being undervolted will perform slower then original ?

The BIOS updates/nerfing is exaggerated on Asus motherboards. So long as you have other brand boards, on the latest BIOS version, you shouldn't need to undervolt. What sort of tasks will you be taxing the system with if you did go for a 12th, 13th or 14th Gen Intel processor/platform?

Seems I need to add Asus to the list of do not buy. Because there is no reason why this should happen.
MSI made that list just recently because they need to fix the intermittent hdmi and display port on the cubi-n I have instead of telling me to get new monitors. Especially when other machines don't have issues with the monitors.
Gigabyte made that list a few years earlier when they sent me a bad server board that the first pcie slot didn't work. Then tried to assumed I over clocked it and hung up the phone and I had to eat the cost of it and make my customer happy with a Tyan board. I sent a picture to them the fixed motherboard with the soldered wire on the underside along with a picture of my middle finger.
