It's a decent build, I think your funds are a bit mismanaged. I would lose the expensive motherboard and the Platinum PSU, and the case fans - these things are not necessary.

New AMD cards are round the corner, wait until buying anything.

I agree with g-unit on some points.

Phantek Enthoo Pro is the case to get. However, you should invest in a 1000W power supply giving you the extra room for SLI or CF. A 980 TI consume more than a 290x. Also, I would replace the WC CPU cooler with a Cooler Master 940 EVO and use the money toward the power supply upgrade. I would buy also an MSI or Asus motherboard instead of Asrock.

I would also remove the optical drive and use an USB drive for installing Windows. I am using my 5.25 bays for storing my HDDs and SSDs leaving great airflow in my case.

This is the build i would do if i was to make a computer right now... I'd actually take out the extra fans as well but this still stays under budget.
