Hello all, I have recently acquired a 2006 Mac Pro 1,1 as a project system (always loved the design) and was looking to upgrade the video card to something a little more modern. I plan to install an unsupported version of OS X 10.11 El Capitan and have already purchased a pair of Intel Xeon X5365 3.0 ghz processors, RAM and SSD. My main concern is not wasting money on a video card that won't work with an unsupported El Capitan installation. I don't need anything too fancy, just something relatively modern and only 2GB of video memory. Any insight into selecting an appropriate video card would be much appreciated. Ty!
