I had a partition that I created for 50GB and my hard drive was working fine but now that I have no use for the partition I formatted it and merged it with my C drive using AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional Edition I applied it and it finished the process I restarted my PC and 200GB has just disappeared

As you can see the program says I have 1.82TB but in file explorer it says I have 1.63TB
If anyone can help that would be amazing as I need the space in my hard drive as I constantly move huge files in-between hard drives

Weird. The partition is definitely 1.8TB, so I'm not certain why Explorer thinks it is 1.6TB.

Someone in this thread seems to have had a similar issue, and solved it with a few commands. It seems Windows recognizes the partition, but it needs to also recognize the filesystem can be extended. I'd give that a try if you're confident using the command prompt.

It seems to say that the capacity is 1.6TB but under disk it says I have 1.8TB with 16MB unallocated
