Hello guys, a few days ago my 2011 Razer Naga arrived in the mail, I was really excited about it and despite the well-known complaints about the mouse I nevertheless decided to buy it since I have nothing to say about Razer's quality. But I do have one issue, when I sometimes click my middle mouse button it pushes back up after a few seconds, I have noticed it only happens at certain spots on the mouse wheel, because when I scroll a bit further it clicks completely fine and then I scroll up a bit more and it start sticking again, it's usually the same spot.

My question to you is, how would I be able to fix it? I'm not afraid to open the mouse up I just need to know what to do, I'm hoping someone on here has had the same problem because I can't find anything about it on Google.
I'd really like to solve this because I absolutely love this mouse except for the middle mouse click issue, it's probably my second most used button.

Thank you in advance.

P.S Don't tell me to buy *insert competitor's MMO mouse here*, I'm asking it here because of the mature community.

Solution
You should try first checking the wheel to see if there is any anomalies in the surface of the mouse wheel such as over-molded plastic.
If not try some compressed air to blast any foreign objects out of the mouse (such as plastic from unpackaging it)

Solution
I should try that, I did try and check the mouse wheel for anomalies but it was in a low-light condition, I'll try again. And the compressed air, should I open it up or should I just blow it into the openings?

I would try without opening the mouse first if that doesn't work try to find a tutorial or disassembly guide for your mouse

I just recently fixed my razer naga epic 2011 blue. The pressing switch inside button was stuck.
The rectangular button that the wheel touch once pressed insert itself in another round button.
With a screw driver slide a flat head on the surface of the rectangular. Apply just enought pressure so it "pop or click" back to its resting position.

DONT press too hard. Just pop back the button. If you smack from the back side you might do damage.

Prob should be the inside cylinder gets stuck with chocolat milk or a foreign object that prevent the connection.

** To make sure it is the pressing switch the middle button pressing switch is soldered with 2 pins that you can test by shorting those 2 leads to simulate the button pressed.
