^ AFAIK, the Mayans stopped making calendars after they invented - wait for it - Mayannaise! 😀 Their recipe was a little different than Hellman's however - instead of eggs they used Virgins...
However, lacking refrigerators, all that potato salad, tuna sandwiches and coleslaw went bad on them almost immediately so they all died off before they could get around to writing the next edition of their calendar..
