Leading into 2017, we spoke with a number of VR industry figureheads to get their predictions for the new year. As the year comes to a close, we thought it fitting to look back and see how accurate they were at predicting the future.

"Bridge Crew forces four players to work together to navigate a starship though the galaxy, and it proved to be one of the best experiences available for VR." You forgot to mention that it's an incredibly thin game in terms of substance. I had about 100 times as much fun playing the old Bridge Commander.

"Cost is a big question around these standalone devices."

"If the Pico Neo's $749 price tag is any indication, the upcoming crop of standalone headsets will serve a niche role and may not help promote VR to a wider audience."

Uh... the Oculus Go is priced at $199. Might want to keep that in mind.
