what cpu should i get to play 2018 & future games .the i7 7700k or i5 8600k ?

Why not 8700k? What refresh rate?

You'll want Hyperthreading to help command queing on the primary core to help cpu usages at 100+ fps depending on gpu. 8600k is showing higher cpu usages in modern games so a 7700k will do better but its an older platform. 8700 or 8700k will be better into the future if aiming for high frame rates in either 1080p or 1440p.

Both the 7700k and 8600k will do good.
