Hi all,
Finally going to build a new rig after 7 years. My objectives: quiet PC build, gaming at 1440p. Play games like Witcher 3 and 2077 next year! May get a 1440p 144hz display. Not interested in 4K gaming.

Decided to go with Asus ROG STRIX sets for quietness and reliability.

Having a hard time deciding whether to go with the 2060 super ($750) vs. 2070 super ($1050). Is the 2070 super an overkill compared to the 2060 Super? Also, I'm a little confused between the ADVANCE and OC models. Anyone can shed a light on the difference?

Solution
For 1440p 144hz you want a solid CPU and a 2070 super at a minimum. If you can go higher, I would.

I would start with this.

Thanks for the build specs! It gives me a better idea on what my final build should look like. Unfortunately the 2080 super is slightly out of my price range. Also, I'm not sure if I'm mistaken but I can't seem to find EVGA cards in Singapore readily. Seen Asus, MSI, Gigabyte and Zoltac mostly.

But agree with you. After reading up further, definitely will go with the 2070 super instead of the 2060 super.
