hi. i recently built a pc about 2 months ago and realized im getting low fps for my build.

im getting about 90-100 fps on all epic settings on fortnite, about 160-200 fps on minecraft all high settings.

all drivers are up to date and ram timings are okay. i really dont know what im doing wrong. please help!

Solution
im still getting about 140 fps on all low except view distance which dips to around 90 at times.
Perhaps they overclocked the CPU & GPU?

This is kind of the reason I don't really care for YT benchmarks as it's hard to check if the parts are actually identical and there's quite a few fake vids out there. While I don't get why they'd do this there are a few.

Check temps, use AMD Ryzen Master for the CPU and HWmonitor for the GPU but also a double check for CPU.

Thermal throttling could cause the dips but I don't think it's an issue in your case since you had good benchmark scores but it's worth looking into.
His settings are a mix of Low & Epic and from the looks of it they are the competitive settings (graphics Low with view distance and a couple others for seeing players on Epic). If I were you I'd turn pretty much everything to Low except for view distance and retest. Some settings like AA can really dip FPS.

Solution
hi, i recently built my pc and get pretty average frames for the specs, but with minecraft i noticed i get about 40-70 fps . ive watched benchmarks and people are getting from 800 fps all the way up to 2000s. is there something im doing wrong? my ram timings are fine as far as i know and my pc runs other games with perfect fps.
