[SOLVED] 2080 SUPER losing performance

So I have a very frustrating problem, I got my 2080 SUPER 3 months ago and at the start I was easily killing games like Apex legends and COD with over 160 fps and now it all dropped in every game to around 120 and I know it’s not a big difference but paying for a $750 GPU to not even be able to maximize your 144hz monitor makes me upset.

MB: Z390 E Gaming
32GB Ram
850 Evga PSU
GEFORCE 2080 SUPER EVGA
also it’s cooled by 5 fans and cpu is hooked up to a liquid cooler

• Boot in safe mode
• Unplug your internet
• Use DDU and choose GPU/Nvidia
• Click on clean and reboot
• Reinstall GPU drivers after the reboot. Don't install Geforce Experience
• Reboot
• Plug your internet.
• Try your games.

Hey, sorry for the delayed response, I forgot all about making a thread and I just got tired of my GPU underperforming since then. I took those steps and did a 3D benchmark test to score a 10,000. I realized the link you gave me wasn't for the most up to date drivers so when I did the most up to date drivers, I took the test again. This time my pc only scored an 8000. So I don't know what to do again. This time I will respond faster. Lol.
