Hello, I need some advice from the pros. I was going to do a full rebuild once the 4090s came out but I've talked myself into a more sound financial decision
My current rig is only like 3 years old I hate to dumpster it already.
Right now Ive got an i9-9900, 16gb of ram, MPG Z390 motherboard and an 850watt PSU. Any issue with that setup supporting a 3080ti? Any bottlenecking I should worry about or would those all synergize well?
Id be upgrading from a basic 2080... do you think the 3080ti would worth the price of that upgrade? Looks like they're in the $800-$900 range right now
My primary goal is 4k gaming at very high settings at the highest FPS feasible.
Also hypothetical question... would my current setup even properly support a 4090? If so... would it be more bang for the buck to bypass the 3080ti and just go for that?
Any thoughts appreciated, ty!!
