Thanks for looking at this.
I will be buying a 2080ti next week. I have already invested in an 8700K, with a Coolermaster ML240 radiator, ASUS Maximus Hero X (10) board, GSkill RAM, and a 1200W Titanium PSU, I have Intel HDD, 512Gb M2 80, 3x SSDs, 2x 3tb Seagates HDD for content and an optane stick to improve their performance in the second slot. What I need is a case and some extra fans I think.
I brought myself an inwin 805 case, nice until you try and get the cables through the cable holes properly, and then the tempered glass shatters when you put it on the floor standing up (probably my fault but to replace the glass is more than the case), but will not replace it because a glass front panel with glue on it, sucks as the thing cannot suck enough air in.
I want to purchase this next week so I can simply pull out the 980 in the box and replace quickly.
The case that I want ideally is designed with sound in mind, eg I want to not hear it, so I need airflow and thicker walls ideally with a bit more space between the motherboard and the back panel. The back panel will be solid not windowed, the roof will have an exhaust fan on it blowing hot air out, bottom will have a fan to suck air in, back will blow out, creating a circular movement moving the heat away from the components.
With this in mind, what case, money is not important on this, as I will use it for the next build as well, ideally will fit under a desk. Advice is welcome.
Have some parts, looking to complete it next week.
